Description
Peeper
Amsterdam, NL (X)
Claudia lives like she belongs in another era. She writes poetry, drinks vintage red wine and observes the world from a quiet distance — discreetly, through peepholes. Zine Nº.6 was built around her world, her words and her gaze.
This wall piece extends that world into three dimensions. Closed, the hand-painted panel carries fragments of Claudia’s poetry embossed into the surface, visible but not immediately legible. A small knob invites you to open it. Inside: the peeper looks back at you from the lid, and her photograph is revealed below.
The work is as much about the act of looking as it is about what is seen.
